About us

Our goal is to offer a unique tasting experience for the real wine lovers who search for wines beyond the standard. We want you to discover the uniqueness that terroir and grape variety can express.

We only use estate grown grapes, from our organic vineyards , farmed following the principles of regenerative viticolture to guarantee the environmental sustainability and no residue of pesticides in the final product. The winemaking process is done respecting the peculiarity of the grape variety, of our terroir and the vintage.

The landscape is shaped by the vineyard and we, as vintners, are proud to carry this responsibility. We believe it’s our duty to farm in harmony with nature and respect for the environment. Such harmony is reached by researching all the synergy offered by the ecosystem, instead of chemical intervention, like promoting the natural balance between beneficial insects and parasites or the proper management of cover crops and green manure to maintain the nutrients and microbial in the soil.

We started the process for the organic certification in 2008 without considering it as the starting point. We’ve actually started the certification after years of adapting our way of farming to have the lowest environmental impact.

All these are the values you can find in every one of our wines beside the authentic taste of the eastern hills of Friuli

We strongly believe that wine is art. It expresses from the grapevine. Every new vine we plant represent the beginning of such artistic expression. The terroir, the history and the millenary of men’s labour is all found in a glass of wine.

In Italy people are proud of wines from their region as they are proud of their historical landmarks, because of the connection embedded between people and wines.

Celebrating 500 years of legacy in 2024. While archaeological findings trace back settlement on the estate to the ancient Roman Empire, it was in 1524 that it first appeared as Tenuta Praducello. Aquired in 1814 by the Rubini family is known henceforth as Villa Rubini estate. Since then, generation after generation has nurtured and elevated the vineyards, culminating in the exquisite wines we offer today.

In 2021, a new chapter unfolded as Dimitri Pintar assumed stewardship, taking over the best crus of Vigna Aratorio della Tesa, Vigna Pra del Molino, and Vigna Aratorio di Praducello.
